That's the case with Debra Medina, the Tea Party's favorite candidate in Tuesday's Republican primary for Texas governor. Speaking in Waco before the election, Medina said this:
Medina got 18 percent of the vote; incumbent Rick Perry topped the 50 percent mark. He'll face Democratic candidate Bill White in the fall.If you haven't seen the hand of God in this race, you haven't been looking.
As for Medina and her followers, maybe they ought to take the hint. Apparently, God doesn't want these folks in power.

Why did you feel the need to be rude? Perhaps you should think more about God yourself.

#3 seems to follow from #1 and #2, if you accept them.
Or maybe God only wanted there to be 18% for Medina. That would qualify as a "mysterious way."
