Lieberman's Faith-Based (& Lukewarm) Endorsement of Palin

As AT has previously noted, GOP operatives are scrambling to find ways to shore up the resume of Gov. Sarah Palin.

Here's the best Sen. Joe Lieberman could do yesterday in an interview with NBC's Andrea Mitchell:
Mitchell: Do you feel Sarah Palin is qualified to be commander-in-chief if, God forbid, something should happen to John McCain?

Lieberman: Well, you know…let's assume the best. John's in great shape, he's gonna be the president and let's assume nothing bad will happen. Why should we? But if it does…yes, she'll be ready.

No Plan B needed. We take on faith that Plan A will succeed.

I'm glad these people weren't in charge of our effort in WWII.
