Apparently, his keen conservative intuition and Fox News is all Inhofe needs to understand current legislation:
At a town hall meeting Wednesday Sen. Jim Inhofe told Chickasha residents he does not need to read the 1,000 page health care reform bill, he will simply vote against it.
"I don’t have to read it, or know what’s in it. I’m going to oppose it anyways," he said.

Considering that this is pretty much exactly what the overwhelming majority of his constituents want him to do, and that--especially by now--most of his constituents have acquired an almost reflexive aversion to anything this Democratic administration and Congress propose, I'm having a very hard time figuring out exactly how this is supposed to be a bad move for Senator Inhofe.
You can write all you like about how stupid you think Inhofe is, of course. But the reality is that there are a heck of a lot more Oklahomans that agree with him than there are that agree with you.
"Almost reflexive"... that's about right. The last ranking by WHO of health systems placed us barely ahead of Slovenia. Maybe we Oklahomans should embrace our inner Slobovia and keep electing the likes of Sullivan.
And Inhofe and Coburn. I "almost reflexively" pulled the wrong bad apple from the barrel.
You can run down Oklahoma and Inhofe with your elitism all you want. In the end, what it comes down to is that he's doing what his constituents want. It always amazes me (at this point I don't know why) when you on the other side always go to name calling when you have no leg left to stand on. I guess it makes you feel better about yourselves.
Why does nothing that comes out that mans mouth surprise me. He is a total idiot.
Just because I'm a born and bred Sooner doesn't mean I have to embrace the cynicism and opportunism of our Congressmen, and the poor thinking processes of most of their supporters.

You proved my point, again, regarding rampant elitism on your side of the issues. Feel better about yourself after running down the other side, again? ;)
I don't care about your bogus charges of elitism, I care that we have laughing stock Congressmen and people who think that's just fine.
