God May Support Anna Falling, but Tulsa Beacon Endorses Chris Medlock

Tulsa mayoral candidate Anna Falling has God on her team, or so she says.

Falling's campaign is explicitly Christian conservative and she has invoked her interest in doing God's will as Tulsa mayor at every opportunity.

But the explicitly pro-God and very conservative Tulsa Beacon apparently didn't get the memo from Heaven. They've endorsed Chris Medlock, former radio talk show host, former city councilor and former candidate for the state legislature. (Medlock seems to have done a lot of things over the years, all of them badly.)

Heaven knows what this means, but we suspect the Beacon endorsement is bad for both candidates. True believers will vote for Falling, while more pragmatic conservatives will opt for Medlock.

Meanwhile, Dewy Bartlett is likely walk away with the GOP primary. Bartlett has the family clout, name recognition and deep pockets to pull off a primary win with or without the Beacon's approval.

As for God, we suspect The Deity will let the GOP voters sort this out, despite Falling's claims to the contrary.

It's very comforting to know of the Lord's deep and abiding interest in far-right Okie politics.

Your commentary was good, but it does come across dripping with bitterness and sarcasm. I'm actually writing a little bit on Anna as well. It should be up before noon on Tuesday (25th).

BTW, thanks for the add on the sidebar even though we come at issues from a different perspective. I like to think mine is correct...kidding.
