Palin Loses One on Federal Stimulus Funds

The unsinkable Sarah Palin took a hit this week as the Alaska legislature overrode her veto of federal stimulus funds, a veto that needed—and got!—a 75 percent vote.

Ex-governor Palin objected to the funds because she said there were too many strings attached, the Anchorage Daily News reported. Legislative leaders answered that Palin's objections were badly overstated.
