An AT Salute to the Tulsa United Film Festival

While we are passing out kudos (see the last post), let's also pass along a "Job Well Done" to the Tulsa United Film Festival playing this weekend at the Circle Cinema.

We were able to see Bicycle Dreams, a documentary about the annual endurance bike event known as Race Across America.

The event, and the film, were (and are) nothing short of amazing. Even for dedicated couch potatoes (you know who you are), this is a powerful, sad and inspiring story. (For more on this film and its filmmaker, Stephen Auerbach, see the website here.)

The former Tulsan behind the United Film Festival is Jason Connell, who deserves a lot of credit for bringing his line-up to T-town. (The festival website is here.)

The film festival is over for this year, but it will return next year. Put it on your calendar.
