Nay-sayers Get It Wrong: Government Makes a Profit on TARP Money

Remember all those whiners who blasted the Feds for giving away taxpayer money to the banks? We'll never get a dime of that back, they said. 

Well, "they" were wrong (we're talking to you Rush, Sean, Bill-O, etc). 

Now, President Obama has announced, ten banks have agreed to return the TARP money—and the U.S. government will turn a profit. 

PolitiFact has checked the president's claim. He's right. The whiners are wrong (again).
