Hannity Lies about 'Cash for Clunkers' Program

That Paragon of Conservative Values and Moral Clarity, Sean Hannity, is lying again. Hannity can't seem to open his mouth without getting the facts wrong, deliberately in many cases.

For example, Hannity is claiming (read: lying) that the so-called Cash for Clunkers program approved by Congress will allow citizens to use worthless junked cars to scam the government for $4,500.

That would be an outrage, if it were true. It's not. When the truth isn't good enough, Hannity makes up his own "facts." Pretty easy to be outraged if you make things up!

PolitiFact sets the record straight here.

Hannity said the other day:

"President Obama's love affair with the mainstream media continues. But as we learn more about next week's Mickey Mouse-sponsored infomercial, one thing is becoming clear, and that is our headline this Wednesday night: 'Journalism in America is Dead.'"

Typical right-wing projection. No single entity has done more to drive a stake through journalism's heart than Fox News.

After yet another values Republican, Gov. Mark Sanford, has fallen and can't get up, the joke network shows him to be a Democrat in their news caption.

It's a regular practice for Fox. You might infer that they have little respect for their viewers.
