Conservative writer David Frum speaking on CBS about Sarah Palin and her political prospects:
Her divisiveness is not just within the country, it’s divisive within the party, and many fear, as I do, that while she’s very popular with some Republicans … she represents a future that leads the party both to political defeat and then to ineffectiveness in government.”***It is an amazing thing that a governor whose most notable achievement in office was to distribute an extra $1200 a year to every resident in Alaska would include in her speech an attack on government handouts

"...she represents a future that leads the party both to political defeat and then to ineffectiveness in government"??
That future arrived some time ago. But I'm all for Palin playing Pied Piper to the GOP.
GOP won;t win it in 2012...because there isn;t one politician today capable of defeating Obama..unless the economy continues to tank..and then my grandmother could beat him..literally..the economy is the real kingmaker in the Presidential Race.
Palin isn;t interested in 2012..she;s taking the long view and seeing what comes down the road..while she continues to point out that the emperor has no clothes and incensing the liberal medial because of it.
Palin is more interested in getting onto the gravy train before it leaves the station.
I bet she will be a lot more coherent in print than she is in person. But when she is live, she'd better have the ghostwriter whispering to her via earpiece.
