Yeah, right.
More recently, Republicans in Washington are proving that they too can engage in outrageous sexual misconduct. The latest example: New York Rep. Vito Fossella, a Republican, who was arrested last week on a drunken driving charge in Virginia.
Now we learn that Rep. Fossella has a lot more to worry about than his drunk driving charge. Here's the explanatory headline from The Huffington Post:
GOP Congressman Admits to Affair and Love Child, Cries on House Floor

He cried, so he isn't a heathen like the Democrats. LOL!
And as a novelty, this GOP scandal spotlightee is apparently straight.
the thing that gets me about the wealth of recent rethug sex scandals is that they are ~ allegedly ~ the party of upright christianity and moral standards, the party of great family values and blah blah blah.
the hypocrisy fairly oozes from them, along with other things which shall not be mentioned. and that's what i can't bear about them.
so many of their top leaders have been exposed as philanderers and perverts. newt gingrich was screeching, red faced and rightous, about bill clinton while engaging in an extramarital affair himself. tom delay's affair had just ended prior to his piling on to impeach clinton for his blowjob.
it's the hypocrisy of it that i despise.
In my considerable experience it's the conservative blow hards who well .. blow the hardest in the bedroom!
No offense, Thomas, I'm with BAB: it's the hypocrisy I can't stand. I do not want to hear about "family values" from the GOP: those who talk about them a lot usually don't have many of them.
