She does seem to have her act awesomely together, though.

I like Chris Dodd's leadership filibustering the telecom immunity bill. I still like Edwards, who continues to speak directly and clearly.

But comparing Hillary with any the GOP candidates, I would enthusiastically cast my ballot for her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-460674773445742325.post-17406895354576795362007-10-24T20:43:00.000-06:002007-10-24T20:43:00.000-06:00Can Hillary carry Oklahoma in 2008? That seems unlikely.

A serious candidate for understatement of the year--but it's not necessarily about people in Oklahoma disliking Democrat politics per se (though certainly many of them do).

A bigger problem for Hillary here in Oklahoma is the intense dislike for her and her ideology personally.

I still think that the upcoming election would be a cakewalk for Democrats if they'd run a halfway conservative Democrat, or even someone who can convincingly sound like one. Instead, they appear determined to run a hard-left, terribly unlikeable candidate with an enormous amount of baggage, who would also happen to be the first female presidential nominee. The old saying is "Don't cut your nose off to spite your face," but it seems to me that Democrats are determined to do just that.

...GOP voters don't seem excited about their candidates.

Oh, don't you worry none. When the time is right, GOP voters will be energized at the sound of five little words: "Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton."Savage Baptisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14366893048089380061noreply@blogger.com
