    But seriously, what a devolved world we live in, where an obvious nitwit like Palin could be taken seriously.

    I understand that there are those who cynically back her because she advances their interests.

    But what kind of person could honestly accept her as a plausible national leader? Watch the Couric and Gibson interviews again. Incredible.

    Former governor of Alaska and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be in Tulsa next month as part of a concert featuring conservative talk show host Glenn Beck.
