Ice Storm Plus 4: Still Dark in Midtown Tulsa

As we noted in a burst of optimism yesterday, progress is being made in midtown Tulsa, four days after the worst ice storm in Oklahoma history.

But as of 6 p.m. Thursday, there's still no electricity in our Brookside neighborhood despite the best efforts of PSO and armies of tree cutters.

The good news: The work continues. The bad news: There's much more to be done.

Since we can't do much about any of this, we'll borrow a page from fellow Tulsa blogger Michael Bates and link readers to the PSO website, which does offer some hope for warmth and light in the not-too-distant future.
